Advanced polling is down for the Milton by-election compared to the original 2022 provincial election.
Elections Ontario has released the data for their upcoming pair of by-elections. For Milton specifically, 6,511 voters (6.6% of registered voters) in Milton cast their ballot early. This is compared to 11,520 voters (12.6% of registered voters) in the 2022 general election.
There are nine candidates and seven parties on the ballot for Milton:
- Progressive Conservative – Zee Hamid
- Ontario Liberal Party – Galen Naidoo Harris
- New Democratic Party – Edie Strachan
- Ontario Green Party – Kyle Hutton
- New Blue Party – John Spina
- Ontario Party – Frederick Weening
- Family Rights Party – Tony Walton
- Independent – John Turmel
- Independent – Arabella Vida

Election day is set for Thursday, May 2nd. Polls will open at 9:00 a.m. and close by 9:00 p.m.
