A popular question that myFM News has been asked about is parking enforcement – will the Town of Milton bylaw officers be handing out parking tickets during the shutdown?
The Town suspended parking enforcement in the spring and summer of 2020, with parking tickets returning on September 1st. However, this time around, the Town of Milton says they are continuing with parking enforcement.
The Town of Milton does tell myFM News that it is “monitoring the situation as the Stay-at-Home order evolves and may consider pausing some elements of enforcement.” It adds that there is one major difference between now and last spring: winter elements. Suspending parking enforcement would make things very challenging for clearing the roads.
