Artificial intelligence will eventually replace a lot of jobs, and one of those might be wedding planning!
A couple went viral for sharing how they put together their big day. After being handed a $5000 quote by the wedding planner, the couple decided to try alternative methods.
They enlisted the work of ChatGPT, and were stunned to find that it was able to do the planning for them. They said it helped keep their wedding budget where they wanted it, and their wedding went off without a hitch!
With wedding season underway, do you have any advice for the soon-to-be newlyweds out there?
Do you also wish you could have used AI to plan your wedding? That $5000 looks awfully nice these days…
Let me know!

Daily WTF – ‘Male’ hippo in Japan zoo found to be female after 7 years
You could be having a hard time, but at least you’re not this hippo at a Japanese zoo. For seven years, staff thought Gen-chan the hippo was a male. This actually confused them because Gen-chan didn’t act like your typical bull. After years and years of taking care of this hippo, watching grow from calf into full grown adult, they also noticed that Gen-chan didn’t have any visible reproductive organs. So, they did an official inspection, and they discovered that he was actually a she… It took them seven years to learn this. The reason why this happened is that when the zoo first acquired Gen-chan all those years ago, the documents from the African wild reserve said she was a male. With her still being a calf, they didn’t question the documents and any kind of inspection never happened. With her not trying to court any of the other female hippos, they realized that something might be off about our sweet Gen-chan here. Staff said this new revelation will not change how they take care of her, and she will keep her name as they think it still suits her.
Daily Did You Know – Get to know Arabella Vida, Independent candidate for Milton by-election
We have seven days until election day for the Milton by-election. Once again, these interviews will be aired daily on a first come, first served basis. We reached out to all nine candidates in next week’s by-election. If you don’t see an interview with a particular candidate, it’s because they declined our offer for an interview. Today, we’re covering Arabella Vida, an independent candidate here in Milton.
It’s about to get WARM in Milton
It’s been a bit of a chilly week here in Milton, but all that’s going to change this weekend. A spring heatwave is expected to hit the town this Sunday, with daily highs soaring into the 20s, and the humidex nearing 30 degrees. Get the sunblock out, drink lots of water, and enjoy the warmth… Because very soon, we’ll all be complaining about the 40 degree humidity. This is the weather we look forward to all winter… ENJOY IT!
Sony Will Be the Latest to Try to Remake ‘Clue,’ This Time for Both Film and TV
A lot of people list the 80s classic ‘Clue’ as one of their favourite movies ever. The ensemble murder-mystery flick is a bonafide classic that still holds up to this day, and you can watch it three different times and get three different endings, which is a fun twist! Thing is, following the success of Barbie last summer, Hasbro and Mattel are in an arms race regarding movies based on toys and board games. Amidst all that, reports say SONY is looking to remake Clue. This remake has long been in the works, with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman originally attached. Apparently those plans have been scrapped. It’s now starting fresh, and could even transition into a television show this time around. Would you watch a rebooted Clue show or movie? Let me know!
Caitlin Clark is getting that money
I have been following the young career of Caitlin Clark these last few months. She’s considered potentially the greatest women’s college basketball player of all time, and was recently drafted 1st overall in the WNBA draft. A big hoopla was made after her starting salary was shared, with Clark only making $75,000 a year over the four-year deal. Rapper Ice Cube offered Clark $5 million to play in his Big 3 basketball league, which was major news. It seems Clark will still be a millionaire regardless of where she plays basketball, as she recently signed a shoe deal with Nike. They’ll pay her $28 million over eight years. In comparison, Lebron James signed a lifetime deal for $1 billion. But hey, at least she’s making more money. Hopefully high tides will raise all ships and WNBA players will make more money very soon. She deserves it!
Taylor Swift hits 1bn Spotify streams in a week with Tortured Poets Department
Taylor Swift continues to break streaming records with her latest album. It’s been less than a week since she released ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ double album; 31 songs that Swifties have been listening to on repeat. While reviews have been mixed for this new album, her fans certainly seem to love it. It’s the most streamed album in a one week period, surpassing a billion streams on Spotify in six days. What’s crazy is that all of these records she’s breaking were HER records that she set. Taylor continues to be on tour, and she’ll be heading to Toronto this summer. If you’re going to see her, make sure you know every song. It’s kind of a big deal, apparently.
Prolific driving offender with 4 lifetime driving bans arrested in Brampton: police
Anyone who has ever driven in Brampton knows that it’s not an easy time. As much as people complain about the driving here in Milton, they’ll still agree that it’s better than our neighbours to the east. Brampton’s infamous driving history is making international headlines this week as a 41-year-old Brampton man was arrested. Why is that a big deal? Well, Nirmal Singh reportedly has four lifetime bans on his driving record. That means four times in his life has he been arrested, and the offences were so severe, that he was banned from driving. But this man isn’t going to let a measly lifetime ban stop him from doing the one thing he loves: criminal activity behind a steering wheel. Reports say he’s about to get a fifth ban, and surely, that will stop him from being on the road. Until he gets his sixth ban, and his seventh ban, and his eighth ban… You get where this is going.
Kim Kardashian hates cardboard… like, really hates it
Kim Kardashian has opened up about something that she deeply hates: cardboard. On Kimmel, she talked about how she hates cardboard so much that she has her assistant remove the cardboard sleeve from her Starbucks coffee cup before handing it to her. She doesn’t even want to see the cardboard. It seems to be chalked up to misophonia, which is “a disorder in which certain sounds trigger emotional or physiological responses that some might perceive as unreasonable given the circumstance.” Is there something you hate as much as Kim Kardashian hates cardboard? What is your unnecessarily hated item? Let me know!
