The traffic stop warranted a warning from the HRPS to residents regarding snowmobiles and ATVs. Snowmobilers and ATV riders cannot ride on private property (without permission), sidewalks, and public parks/spaces.
In this latest post, the HRPS stresses that all riders “require a valid driver’s licence, insurance, and registration while crossing public roadways.”
The Milton District Response Unit stopped this snowmobiler today. A reminder to all riders that you require a valid driver’s licence, insurance, and registration while crossing public roadways. Respect land owners and only ride where you have permission. ^cm #snowmobile pic.twitter.com/s0jJxYtn4J
