After sending out the warning, it seems not everyone listened.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) posted a picture and description of an adult ATV driver riding with two children along a roadway in Milton. None of the riders had helmets. One child was sitting on the front fender, the other child was sitting on the driver’s lap.
The driver was charged.
With the heavy snow still all over the town, the warning remains: snowmobilers and ATV riders cannot ride on private property (without permission), sidewalks, and public parks/spaces.
