The Milton Menace made a trade ahead of Thursday night’s game against the Brantford 99ers.
The Menace have traded forward Adam Tucci to one of their rivals, the Oakville Blades. In exchange, the Menace have received forward James Barbour.
Tucci is a 2001-born forward from Oakville, so he’ll be joining his hometown team. The 20-year-old was part of the inaugural Menace team, scoring 12-goals and nine assists in 48 games in the 2019-2020 season. He had two-goals and 12 assists in 14-games so far this season.
Coming the other way is Barbour. The 19-year-old Lake Forest, Illinois-boy played in 15-games with the Blades this season. He had two-goals and three-assists. He played in the game against the 99ers on Thursday, in which he failed to get either a goal or an assist.
Fun fact: While born a year apart, their birthdays are just three days apart. It’s the little things.
The Menace lost to the 99ers, 4-3, on Thursday. Read our recap here. The Menace play again Friday. They face the Georgetown Raiders at the Milton Memorial Arena. Gametime starts at 7:30 p.m..
