The Milton Menace might enjoy playing in double overtime.
For the second time this week, and the third time this season, the team played in double overtime. They were facing the Brantford 99ers at the Gretzky Main Area.
The game started off close. The 99ers were first to get on the board when they scored 15-minutes into the first.
In the second, the Menace took over. Captain Jordan Stock scored with an extra attacker on the ice, assisted by Alessandro Petreccia and Tyler Turpin.
Lucas Buzziol then scored the second goal to make it 2-1. That was assisted by Adam Tucci and Petreccia.
The Menace then went up 3-1 with a goal from Tucci, assisted by Ryan O’Donnell.
The 99ers tied the game at three in the third. That led to the double overtime goal by Justin Randhawa, assisted by Holden Rogers and Tyler Amaral. It came just 21 seconds into the extra-extra period.
The Milton Menace are back on the ice tonight with a game against the Aurora Tigers. It’ll be at the Milton Memorial Arena at 7:30 p.m..
