We’re bringing back a listener favourite this coming weekend!
When we switched over to FM 101 Milton, many listeners asked about our Sunday morning music show that played music from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Well, starting this Sunday, October 17th, we will have the Sunday Morning Diner with John ‘The Milkman’ Mielke.
He says he’s ecstatic to bring such a popular format back to the Milton airwaves.
Mielke is an Ottawa-based broadcaster who is well-known in the broadcasting industry. In 1996, he founded the #1 website in Canada for job postings in broadcasting, MilkmanUnlimited.com.
He says he got into broadcasting because of radio’s ability to capture the imagination and create conversations with each and every one of the listeners. He looks forward to getting to know Milton, Alliston, Orangeville, and their residents.
If you’d like to get ahold of Mielke, you can find him at his Facebook page. You can also listen to Mielke weekdays at 9:00 a.m. on his own internet radio show.
The Sunday Morning Diner will air on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to noon every week.
