2021 is kicking off with Crime Stoppers Month.
January is an opportunity for law enforcement organizations to highlight successes and partnerships in helping solve crime.
Crime Stoppers of Halton was officially formed in 1988. Since then, thousands of cases have been solved locally.
In 2020, it held a free event at the Halton Police Headquarters to celebrate the month. With the pandemic ongoing and the second provincial shutdown underway, an in-person event in 2021 is unlikely.
