101.3myFM is holding our 2nd annual All Hands on Deck Food Drive next month.
We’ll be receiving food donations at John’s No Frills, with all proceeds going towards Food4Kids Halton.
While every kids program is valuable, myFM General Manager Hilary Montbourquette explains why Food4Kids was the right choice.
Montbourquette adds that, with the ongoing pandemic, safety is key.
He says that includes even getting creative with the food itself.
There isn’t a goal set in-place. Montbourquette says that if you pressed him for an answer, he’d like to reach $3000 in value to match last year’s collection. However, he’s aware that we are currently in the middle of a pandemic and that money may be tight for some people.
He just hopes that you can spare a few dollars to help feed local children in-need.
The Food Drive is on Thursday, August 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at John’s No Frills on Derry Road in Milton.
myFM will be broadcasting live on location all-day.
