Construction season is officially here!
The Town of Milton says that $32.2 million is being invested to build and maintain critical infrastructure. That includes:
- Road reconstruction
- Bike lanes
- Sidewalk expansion
- Asphalt improvements
- Intersection modifications
- Urbanization (curbs and gutters)
- Storm sewer rehabilitation
- Bridge maintenance
You know what that means? Get ready for road closures.
We’ve already received word that a stretch of Appleby Line will close for the summer.
On top of that, a snippet of Thompson Road will close this weekend as part of the Britannia widening project.
During construction, residents are encouraged to plan travel in advance, consider alternate routes, follow signage and be patient while traveling in and around construction areas.
