Road closed sign
A Milton road is closing this weekend as the Town works on widening the street.
Starting on Friday, April 28th at 7:00 p.m., Thompson Road South will be closed from Britannia Road to Logan Drive. It will then re-open to traffic on Monday, May 1st at 6:00 a.m.
The closure had previously been scheduled for the weekend of March 31st, but poor weather had caused a delay.
The Town of Milton says this work is being done as part of the Britannia Road widening project.
