Daily WTF – ‘They’re out of control’: flock of 100 feral chickens torments village
It’s ‘The Attack of the Wild Chickens’! A UK town is being bullied by roughly 100 feral chickens. These chickens live in a nearby wooded area and they come out to destroy local gardens. Residents say they tried to leave food out for the chickens to deter them from attacking the gardens, but instead, they’re ignoring the food, which is now attracting rats. One resident has suggested getting cats to take care of the rats and chickens. It sounds like they’re on a slippery slope.

GOOD NEWS – Alice Cooper donates cat drawing to Detroit rescue group for fundraising
Rockstar and Detroit-native Alice Cooper is hoping to help an animal rescue organization. He learned about Michigan Cat Rescue and decided he’d try his best to help them out. Cooper is doing so in a very unique way! While at an Orlando horror convention this month, he decided to draw a cartoon cat on a piece of paper. He’s donating that drawing to the rescue group, and they will auction it off. It’s not known how much the drawing will fetch, but all money raised will help cats being treated for at the organization… And that is some good news!

Are you car-compatible with your partner?
Here’s a question you’ve likely never thought about when it comes to your relationship: are you car-compatible with your partner? A new survey found that roughly 25% of people are “incompatible” with their partner when it comes to vehicles. That means the two people in the relationship have different viewpoints on how to treat a vehicle, with 10% of men calling this a dealbreaker. 45% of couples admit they argue over a shared vehicle, and 28% have gotten into disagreements and arguments specifically over how the car’s settings are adjusted. Have you ever done this? Do you and your partner argue over anything car-related? My wife and I argue about the radio. She’s a channel flipper, whereas I like to keep it on one station regardless of commercials or a lacklustre song. When I’m driving, I beg her to stop touching that dial! What about you? Are you and your partner car-compatible? Let me know!
A woman took her dog to a shelter to be euthanized. A year later, the dog is up for adoption again
Someone’s got some ‘splainin’ to do. A Maryland woman was exhausted from the constant vet appointments and treatments for her dog. At just a few months old, Beau was constantly sick. At the recommendation of multiple experts, she decided it was time to put Beau to rest. The woman went to a local shelter for the process, and that was that. She was told the shelter does not allow for people to stay for the euthanizing, so she never got to say goodbye to her puppy. Cut to present day, the woman is feeling like giving a dog a second shot, and is looking at adoption sites. That’s when she sees a familiar, VERY unexpected face. It’s Beau! The shelter decided Beau was not fit for being put down just yet, and gave him back to the rescue organization he originally came from. He was diagnosed with a liver issue, and through GoFundMe, $7000 was raised and the surgery was successful. Happy to see her puppy was still alive and healthy, the woman called the rescue to explain what had happened. She says she was treated rudely and told she will never see Beau ever again. The dog remains up for adoption, and the woman is fighting for the living dog that she was advised to put down more than a year ago. What a world!
