The Milton Menace now have their schedule for the second round of the OJHL playoffs.
Game one of the series will take place on Friday, March 22nd at the Milton Memorial Arena. The seven game series will then alternate home games between Milton and Leamington. Here’s the full schedule:
- Game One – Milton Menace vs Leamington Flyers – Milton Memorial Arena – 7:30 p.m., Friday, March 22nd
- Game Two – Milton Menace @ Leamington Flyers – Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre – 5:10 p.m., Sunday, March 24th
- Game Three – Milton Menace vs Leamington Flyers – Milton Memorial Arena – 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 26th
- Game Four – Milton Menace @ Leamington Flyers – Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre – 7:10 p.m., Thursday, March 28th
- Game Five – Milton Menace vs Leamington Flyers – Milton Memorial Arena – 6:30 p.m., Saturday, March 30th
- Game Six – Milton Menace @ Leamington Flyers – Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre – 7:10 p.m., Monday, April 1st
- Game Seven – Milton Menace vs Leamington Flyers – Milton Memorial Arena – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3rd
The Milton Menace hold home ice advantage after finishing 2nd in the West Conference. They had a 41-12-2-1 record through 56 regular season, giving them a franchise record of 85 points. Milton won their first round series against the Burlington Cougars in five games, with Nicholas Wereha and Aidan Puley leading the way, both scoring three goals and gathering two assists.
As for the Leamington Flyers, they’ll be a tougher match-up than the Cougars. They finished 3rd in the West Conference with a 34-14-5-3 record in 56 games played. That gave them a respectable 76 points this season. They managed to sweep the Georgetown Raiders in the first round, only allowing nine goals in the four games.
Looking at how they did against each other in the regular season, the Menace have the edge. They played each other four times, with Milton winning two, losing one, and the other game ending in a tie.
You can join the Menace as they head to Leamington game two. The team is planning a bus that will take fans to the Nature Fresh Farms Recreation Centre. Tickets are going $75 for the round trip. Learn more here.
