The Townsend Smith Foundation is holding an online auction fundraiser.
It’s called ‘Handbags for Hospice’. It closes tonight, and you’re still able to bid on purses, with all of the proceeds going towards helping bring a hospice to North Halton.
The Director of Development for Townsend Smith, Kate Holmes, explains why they’re selling purses.
This is the first year that Townsend Smith is holding this event.
Holmes says it’s a pretty common, yet unique, event held by hospice organizations across Ontario.
Holmes says the auction will close on Wednesday, October 28th at 9:00 p.m..
