The Government of Ontario has launched the 2019-2020 Capital Priorities program.
The program will allow for school boards to apply for funding for capital projects to be completed by the 2023-2024 school year.
Those projects can include new school buildings and renovations.
In a statement, Milton MPP Parm Gill says the Ontario Government want to invest in improving schools.
He adds that building new schools and improving existing ones means students will be in a better learning environment.
The announcement of the program comes as a new high school in Milton was announced.
It will be completed for the 2020-2021 school year.
