On June 7th Ontarians will head to the polls to decide the 42nd Parliament of Ontario.
In advance of the election, 101.3 myFM is previewing Milton candidates.
NDP nominee for Milton, Brendan Smyth, is a master electrician of his local union, where he’s fought for the skilled trades.
He wants to see changes to make Milton better.
Smyth says cuts to education aren’t acceptable, with growing class sizes and crumbling infrastructure.
He says the Conservatives proposed cuts aren’t what Milton needs.
Smyth says the aging population in Ontario isn’t getting the proper treatment they deserve, with rising hydro costs and insufficient access to mediacare making retirement increasingly difficult.
He adds that change is out there that will take care of everybody, without looking at cuts or layoffs.
