UPDATE:
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) has provided an update on the single-vehicle collision in Milton that caused one person to be airlifted.
On Monday, January 10th, at roughly 8:20 a.m., the HRPS responded to a single motor vehicle collision on Guelph Line between Derry Road and Conservation Road in Milton. A silver Honda Civic had left the roadway and collided with a tree. A 31-year-old male driver was taken to Hamilton General Hospital by air ambulance with life threatening injuries. There were no other occupants in the vehicle.
Due to the nature of the injuries, the Collision Reconstruction Unit attended and has taken carriage of the investigation.

A single-vehicle collision in Milton has caused a road closure and sent at least one person to hospital.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) and other first responders are on the scene at Guelph Line, north of Derry Road. The HRPS says that Guelph Line will be closed between Conservation Road and Derry while the collision investigation continues.
The driver has been airlifted to hospital. Road closure updates are expected. You are asked to take an alternate route if you were planning to drive through the area.
