A pedestrian is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Burlington.
The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) says the collision happened on Tuesday, January 4th at roughly 7:15 p.m. on Lakeshore Road near Goodram Road in Burlington.
The 66-year-old pedestrian was taken to Joseph Brant Hospital for emergency treatment where they were pronounced dead by the medical staff. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
The Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to call 905-825-4747 ext: 5065.
