The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 816 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 27,310. With 23,503 resolved cases and 246 deaths, Halton is at 3561 active cases, 431 more than Wednesday. The Region says that of the 27,310 total cases, 26,544 were confirmed positive while 766 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have 169 new cases. That brings us to 7954 total cases. With 7198 resolved cases and 48 deaths, Milton is at 708 active cases, 104 more than Wednesday’s update. The Region says that of the 7954 total cases, 7689 were confirmed positive while 265 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 11,160 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 3257 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 97 cases being reported – 33 are non-Halton cases, 61 are residents, two are staff cases, and one unspecified. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 1,052,131 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 938,293 of the doses were to Halton residents.
463,762 second doses have been administered in Halton. 412,470 of those have been Halton residents.
115,530 additional doses have been administered in Halton. 99,923 of those have been Halton residents.

- 13,916 first doses, 10,158 second doses and 6780 additional doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 372,273 first doses, 342,168 second doses and 47,636 additional doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
