The first ever Milton Holiday Market is this weekend.
It will be held on Saturday, December 18th and Sunday, December 19th at the Milton Fairgrounds and is being put on by For the Love of Markets. Owner Meagan Madill tells you what to expect in Milton this weekend.
This won’t be the company’s first market. Madill mentions that they’ve been holding safe outdoor markets throughout the pandemic, including a winter essentials market last January. She says it’s that exact experience that has allowed them to launch this new Milton event. She hopes it can reconnect some local businesses with a community that’s been kept at a distance.
Both parking and entry are free to the Market. Compassion Society of Halton will be on-site accepting donations. A portion of the Market’s proceeds will also be going to the Society.
With the promise of live music, tasty food and warm drinks, Madill says you can expect a great day!
