The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 33 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day(dec 14).

12 of the positive cases were in people 17 years of age and under.
There were 102 confirmed cases in Simcoe County.
There are now 213 active cases in South Simcoe, up 9 since Tuesday (dec 14) with 4 cases in hospital which is down 2.
With kids aged 5-11 now eligible for vaccine, the health unit now shows 79% of residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 75% fully vaccinated.
