The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 28 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (dec 13).

9 of the cases were in people aged 17 years and under.
There were 90 confirmed cases in Simcoe County.
There are now 204 active cases in South Simcoe, up 12 since Monday (dec 13) with 6 cases in hospital which is unchanged.
With kids aged 5-11 now eligible for vaccine, the health unit now shows 80% of residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 75% fully vaccinated.
