The Milton Menace managed to win and lose this past weekend.
They went up against two divisional rivals and went 1-1. On Friday night, it was the Burlington Cougars. They lost 6-4, with Blade Riddall, Jordan Stock, Holden Rogers, and James Barbour all scoring for Milton.
The Menace looked to rebound against the Georgetown Raiders on Sunday night and did just that. Milton beat their North Halton rivals 5-1. Captain Jordan Stock scored the first goal of the game in the first period. That was assisted by Tyler Turpin.
In the second, Georgetown tied it up. James Barbour then scored the eventual game winner, assisted by Tyler Amaral and Lucas Buzziol.
The third period went entirely in Milton’s favour. The Menace scored three more unanswered goals from Alessandro Petreccia, Aidan Hughes, and Ethan Sims.
The Menace get Monday off before they take on the Aurora Tigers on Tuesday night. They last played on November 26th when the Menace beat the Tigers 6-3. Gametime will start at 7:00 p.m. at the Milton Memorial Arena on Tuesday, December 14th.
