The Weather Warnings from Environment Canada have led to an advisory from the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority.
The NVCA is advising the rising temperature and rain over the next couple of days could lead to elevated water levels.
The forecast is calling for a daytime high of upwards of 15 degrees Celsius on Saturday (dec11) in some locations.
That mixed with 10 – 20 mm of rain might lead to fast flowing water in streams and rivers.
Water at this time of the year is extremely cold.
Parents and pet owners are reminded to keep children and animals away from all bodies of water.
