The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 42 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 20,733. With 20,248 resolved cases and 244 deaths, Halton is at 241 active cases, 11 more than Monday. The Region says that of the 20,733 total cases, 20,006 were confirmed positive while 727 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have seven new cases. That brings us to 6611 total cases. With 6481 resolved cases and 47 deaths, Milton is at 83 active cases, five less than Monday’s update. The Region says that of the 6611 total cases, 6356 were confirmed positive while 255 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7867 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2552 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 80 cases being reported – 29 are non-Halton cases, 50 are residents, and two are staff cases. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
An outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It is at Milton Quran Institute. There are 17 cases being reported: 15 are Halton cases and two are non-Halton cases. It was first declared on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 914,059 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 818,712 of the doses were to Halton residents.
461,318 second doses have been administered in Halton. 410,999 of those have been Halton residents.

- 17,340 first doses and 17,173 second doses have been administered to people aged 75-79;
- 24,736 first doses and 24,530 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 13,364 first doses and 1401 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 84,430 first doses and 110,846 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,876 first doses and 10,107 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 354,435 first doses and 340,365 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
