The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 109 new cases coming out of the weekend. The total number of cases is up to 20,691. With 20,217 resolved cases and 244 deaths, Halton is at 230 active cases, 13 more than Friday. The Region says that of the 20,691 total cases, 19,965 were confirmed positive while 726 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have 35 new cases. That brings us to 6604 total cases. With 6469 resolved cases and 47 deaths, Milton is at 88 active cases, two more than Friday’s update. The Region says that of the 6604 total cases, 6349 were confirmed positive while 255 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7852 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2546 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 80 cases being reported – 29 are non-Halton cases, 25 are residents, two are staff cases, and 24 are not yet specified. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
An outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It is at Milton Quran Institute. There are 17 cases being reported: 15 are Halton cases and two are non-Halton cases. It was first declared on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 913,802 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 818,538 of the doses were to Halton residents.
461,221 second doses have been administered in Halton. 410,936 of those have been Halton residents.

- 22,964 first doses and 22,468 second doses have been administered to people aged 70-74;
- 17,338 first doses and 17,173 second doses have been administered to people aged 75-79;
- 24,735 first doses and 24,526 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 13,255 first doses and 1400 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 84,265 first doses and 110,751 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,875 first doses and 10,107 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 354,441 first doses and 340,363 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
