Like promised, the Chief Medical Officer of Health for the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit has released a letter to the residents, businesses and organizations within the County of Simcoe.
A second letter is addressed to CAO’s of each municipality.
Both letters appeal to everyone to continue practicing public health measures to help slow and possibly reverse the spread of COVID-19.
Dr. Charles Gardner says it is particularly important during the holiday season and in the winter months, to protect one another.
He says vaccination is your best protection and if gathering for seasonal festivities, keep gatherings to a small number of people.
