Local food banks are busy collecting non perishable items to make sure everyone has a good holiday.
The New Tecumseth Public Library is doing what they can to continue running a program started before the pandemic by 4 Banting Memorial High School Students.

She says the Hygiene Hamper Collection Program a simple concept, one often overlooked when donations are made to food banks.

All 3 branches of the New Tecumseth Public Library will be collecting personal products until December 10.
Volunteers will be doing a porch pick up on December 12 for residents who cannot get to the library, just give them notice.
