Christmas is just 25 days away and the Alliston Lions Club is busy preparing their seasonal hampers.
Volunteers from the Lions and the Adjala-Tosorontio Fire Department are joining forces for the annual Jim Kenn Memorial Food Drive in Everett.
Lions Club member Derm Russell says residents of Everett will receive a pamphlet tonight (nov 30) explaining what they looking for and how they can help.
Russell says on Sunday (dec 5) both the Lions and firefighters will make their way through Everett collecting the bags of non-perishable food items left outside your front door
The collection will start at 9am.
