The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 41 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe over the weekend (nov 26-28).

There were 225 confirmed cases in Simcoe County with 116 from Barrie.
There are now 126 active cases in South Simcoe, up 25 since Friday (nov 26) with 8 cases in hospital which is up 2.
With kids aged 5-11 now eligible for vaccine, the health unit now shows 78% of residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 75% fully vaccinated.
