The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 6 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (nov 24).
2 each in Adjala-Tosorontio and Innisfil, and 1 each in Bradford West Gwillimbury and New Tecumseth.
There were 43 confirmed cases in Simcoe County.
There are now 98 active cases in South Simcoe, down 5 since Wednesday (nov 24) with 6 cases in hospital which is unchanged.
With kids aged 5-11 now eligible for vaccine, the health unit now shows 77% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 74% fully vaccinated.
