The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton have been released.
Across Halton, there are 23 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 20,285. With 19,914 resolved cases and 243 deaths, Halton is at 128 active cases, 12 more than Tuesday. The Region says that of the 20,285 total cases, 19,568 were confirmed positive while 717 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have eight new cases. That brings us to 6456 total cases. With 6381 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 29 active cases, five more than Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6456 total cases, 6204 were confirmed positive while 252 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is reporting variant case totals. It says that 7729 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2522 total variant cases.
An outbreak has been declared at a congregate living facility. It is labelled only as ‘Congregate Living – 80’ on the Halton Region outbreak webpage. There are 22 cases being reported – eight are non-Halton cases, 13 are residents, and one is a staff case. It was first declared on Thursday, November 4th.
A new outbreak has been reported at a Milton school. It is at Milton Quran Institute. There are two cases being reported, both are Halton cases. It was first declared on Tuesday, November 23rd.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 899,924 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 805,990 of the doses were to Halton residents.
459,427 second doses have been administered in Halton. 409,560 of those have been Halton residents.

- 22,951 first doses and 22,440 second doses have been administered to people aged 70-74;
- 17,327 first doses and 17,156 second doses have been administered to people aged 75-79;
- 24,722 first doses and 24,505 second doses have been administered to people aged 80+; and,
- 2030 first doses and 1382 second doses are pending.
The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 80,959 first doses and 109,273 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,896 first doses and 10,133 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 345,642 first doses and 340,021 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
