The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 37 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe over the weekend (nov 19-21).

- 7 New Tecumseth
There were 158 confirmed cases in Simcoe County, with 72 of those in Barrie.
There are now 103 active cases in South Simcoe, up 9 since Friday (nov 19) with 6 cases in hospital which is also up 1.
With kids aged 5-11 now eligible for vaccine, the health unit now shows 77% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 74% fully vaccinated.
Kids can be signed up to get the vaccine starting tomorrow (nov 23).
