The annual Festive RIDE campaign kicked off today (nov 18).
OPP and South Simcoe Police are joining forces to launch the campaign, which runs until January 2nd.
OPP Inspector Kevin Connors says getting impaired drivers off the road is something they rely on local citizens to help out with.
Inspector Connors says 29 people were killed in collisions involving impaired drivers so far this year, with many others sustaining serious injuries.
