Santa Claus is coming to town!
The Milton Santa Claus Parade will make its comeback this weekend. It was cancelled last year as the COVID-19 pandemic affected many local events.
Parade President Michael Vertolli is hoping to put on a great show.
He adds that neither him nor his team are nervous for the big day as it’s something they’ve been looking forward to doing for two years now. They’re champing at the bit to get the show on the road.
It’s going to be a BIG parade with over 60 floats, bands, and more taking part – including FM101 Milton! Vertolli runs down the list of all the participants.
Candy will be handed out to the children in the crowd. The participants doing so will be wearing gloves and will be masked.
There will also be participants walking the parade with tap machines that will allow people to donate in a safe and easy manner. Vertolli says these people will be easily noticeable and the money will go towards supporting the annual parade.
The Milton Santa Claus Parade will be Sunday, November 21st, starting at 1:30 p.m.. It will begin at Whitmer Street and Main Street. For more, visit the Milton Santa Claus Parade website.
