One person is in custody after an Alliston high school was placed in lockdown during the noon hour.
Nottawasaga OPP say a Belleville area resident was picked up after Banting Memorial High School staff and students were moved to secure areas of the school.
Investigators confirm there is no threat to residents in the area.
The school was placed in a lockdown for about an hour while police were active in the area.
