Today is Remembrance Day.
There will be local in-person ceremonies in Alliston at the Cenotaph on Albert Street and at Base Borden this morning.
Innisfil will host a virtual Remembrance Day ceremony.
There will also be an in-person ceremony at the National War Memorial in Ottawa after last year’s event was cancelled due to the pandemic
A heads up for those on or near CFB Borden.
Members of the Canadian Armed Forces will be using blank artillery rounds on to fire a salute.
Rounds will be go off at 11am and again at 11:02am.
