With the first week under their belt, Simcoe County considers there new waste cart system a success and a work in progress.
Willma Bureau is the Collections Manager with the County.
Bureau says as time goes on, the collections will become smoother and eventually both residents and crews won’t have to think about it.
She says the residents who might have been missed on the initial run through will have their items picked up.
Bureau says drivers are learning new routes as well as learning how to use the new equipment.
