The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting the pandemic death toll in South Simcoe has risen to 85.
An Innisfil resident passed away, bringing the number of COVID related fatalities to 21 in that municipality.

3 in Bradford West Gwillimbury and 1 each in Essa and New Tecumseth.
There were 38 confirmed cases in Simcoe County and 1 case is pending.
There are now 57 active cases in South Simcoe, up 4 since Wednesday (nov 3) with 7 people in hospital which is unchanged.
The health unit still shows 87% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 83% now fully vaccinated.
