The SCRAM Program is gaining traction in Alliston’s downtown.
The Security Camera Registry and Mapping Program, is a partnership between the Nottawasaga OPP Police Services Board and the Alliston Business Improvement
Association.
Inspector Steve Ridout with the OPP says the program is all about keeping things on the up-and-up.

The ABIA is offering a rebate for businesses who install a security system and agree to allow the OPP to gain access to the footage should there be an investigation where video can be used as an aid to solving a crime.
