A 47 year old Alliston resident is facing charges after police made an arrest in a sexual assault case.
Members of the Nottawasaga OPP Major Crimes Unit laid charges in connection to an investigation that occurred in New Tecumseth.
As a result an Alliston man is facing Sexual Assault on a person under the age of 16 and Sexual Interference.
The name of the accused is being withheld to protect the identity of the victim.
The accused is being held pending a bail hearing.
