Grade 7 and 8 students in Simcoe Muskoka school boards waiting for their age appropriate vaccinations will once again be held in queue.
The Chief Medical Officer of Health with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit says the pandemic is forcing the cancellation of them again.
Dr. Charles Gardner says the earlier than expected rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine for young children takes precedence.
Dr. Gardner says those students who missed last years meningitis, HPV and hepatitis B vaccinations can wait until next year or call their primary health care provider or the health unit.
