The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is reporting 8 new cases of COVID-19 in South Simcoe in the last day (oct 20).
7 in Innisfil and 1 in New Tecumseth.
There were 22 in total in Simcoe County.
There are now 47 active cases in South Simcoe, up 7 since Wednesday (oct 20) with 2 cases in hospital which is unchanged.
The health unit still shows 86% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 82% now fully vaccinated.
