Visitors to Stevenson Memorial Hospital will be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 starting November 22.
The Alliston health centre recently signed a letter of intent with the Central Region Hospitals taking a united front on implementing a COVID-19 vaccine policy for people entering the building.
Stevenson Memorial has previously stated staff must be fully vaccinated by October 31st or face disciplinary action.
Proof of vaccination along with photo ID will be necessary, except when time is of the essence. In that case it can be produced later.
They include, the parent of a young child, those visiting a patient who is palliative, in labour, experiencing a life altering or critical illness or if the patient requires a support person.
If you require care, proof of vaccination will not be required.
