Pfizer-BioNTech is awaiting approval from Health Canada for its COVID-19 vaccine geared toward children aged 5 – 11.
The Chief Medical Officer of Health with the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit says they are preparing to undertake the largest vaccination campaign for children in recent history.
Dr. Charles Gardner says the last time anything like this happened was in the 1950’s.
