The latest COVID-19 stats for Milton and Halton are now available.
Across Halton, there are 20 new cases. The total number of cases is up to 19,590. With 19,237 resolved cases and 242 deaths, Halton is now at 111 active cases, two more cases than Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 19,590 total cases, 18,910 were confirmed positive while 680 were considered probable cases.
In Milton, we have six new cases. That keeps us at 6262 total cases. With 6190 resolved cases and 46 deaths, Milton is at 26 active cases, the same as Tuesday’s update. The Region says that of the 6262 total cases, 6023 were confirmed positive while 239 were considered probable cases.
The Halton Region is detailing the number of COVID-19 variant cases. It says that 6560 total variant cases have been found in Halton. Milton has reportedly had 2231 total variant cases.
A Milton school is dealing with an outbreak. Irma Coulson Public School has seven reported cases, each are Halton Cases. The outbreak was declared on Friday, September 24th.
Looking at vaccination numbers, a total of 875,675 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Halton. 786,612 of the doses were to Halton residents.
442,995 second doses have been administered in Halton. 396,453 of those have been Halton residents.

The following is where the vaccine doses have been administered:
- 75,614 first doses and 98,318 second doses have been administered through pharmacies and physicians’ offices;
- 13,825 first doses and 9995 second doses have been administered through the Halton Region Public Health and Paramedic Mobile Teams;
- 343,241 first doses and 334,682 second doses have been administered through community and hospital-based clinics.
The Halton Region says that out of the 454,818 Halton residents who are immunized with two doses of the COVID-19, 0.11% of them have tested positive for the virus after vaccination. For Milton, there are 94,700 fully immunized residents – 0.11% of them have tested positive for the virus after vaccination.
