A new community based crime prevention program is available to residents and business owners in the area.
Nottawasaga OPP is registering security cameras for SCRAM so they can create a map and contact list in the case of a crime.
Constable Cindy Jacome says police will not have access to the cameras or video footage without permission from the owners,

Constable Jacome says having access to the security camera footage quickly could give them an edge to wrapping up crimes faster.
She adds, there is no cost to the program.
