Thursday (sep 30) is a statutory holiday for some but not others.
The Province of Ontario isn’t recognizing the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (sep 30).
That means that only federally regulated workplaces including government offices, Canada Post and banks will be closed.
Schools will be open as will libraries.
Retailers, including grocery stores, restaurants, the LCBO and The Beer Store are allowed to stay open.
The garbage collection schedule for Simcoe County remains unchanged and Simcoe County LINX bus service and GO Transit will be running as usual.
