There were 42 in total in Simcoe County.
There are now 62 active cases in South Simcoe, up 1 since Friday (sep 24) with 4 people now in hospital which is unchanged.
The health unit still shows 85% of eligible residents of Simcoe Muskoka have had their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine with 79% now fully vaccinated.
From August 1st to September 25th, the rate of COVID-19 infection among the unvaccinated Simcoe Muskoka population is 11 times higher than it is for those fully vaccinated and the rate of hospitalization is 59 times higher.
